IMS updated to two products plus a License Updates add-on

2026.08.19

October 14, 2026 update: This article records the policy described on August 19, 2026. Under the current policy, Updates is an optional License-only subscription, includes the first three months, and never starts paid billing automatically. Customers can use the version purchased without subscribing to Updates. Terms for using versions obtained through Updates after cancellation will be stated in the final license terms.

IMS is in development with two products. License has a $349 one-time USD candidate price, without source code, with perpetual internal use and three months of Updates included. Optional continuation is a $31/month USD candidate for months 4–6 and $62/month from month 7. License Plus has a $699 one-time USD candidate price and is planned to include full source, internal-modification rights, technical documentation, and customer-server/self-hosted operation. It is not eligible for the License Updates add-on, and the purchaser manages updates and security. Updates cannot be purchased on its own and never starts automatically. All USD figures are unapproved candidates pending final international pricing.
